Bedabots, by default, employs the Vulkan rendering engine. Not every graphics card supports this. If you are using an older GPU, or if you haven't updated your drivers in a long while, or if you're playing the game on a laptop without a dedicated GPU, the game may show you a black screen or otherwise crash to desktop when you try to run it. For these cases, you can explicitely instruct the game to run using an OpenGL renderer instead. To do this, pass the following parameter to the game:

--rendering-driver opengl3

For Windows users, the .bat file included with the game automatically does this for you. If you are experiencing crashes on startup, try running the game using the .bat file instead of by launching the .exe.
